My writing goals for 2024 consist of generally writing. Not sure how much to share, but I am on sub (yay?). We know that it is hard being on sub and I’ll be honest, stress like this can send me spiraling, espcially in a situation like querying or sub where there is little control.
What I do have control of: writing. I don’t have nearly as much time to write and it’s much more precious so this year I plan to write in the way of revision. I have a manuscript that is with my agent and my CPs that I am very hopeful for.
If I do write anything new, I have a proposed follow up to my MS on sub. But that could be reaching. I’m trying to manage my expectations while also burying my head in the sand. Which I will do with revising prior work.
I also have a Substack that I’m sharing past manuscripts on, so I’ll revise one (who knows which) to share once SHINY PENNY is through.
