Did you know I have a newsletter? Seems like most people do these days, especially when you’re in the publishing industry. But my aim was to provide something for everyone, not just those who are in publishing. My Hard Truths has ultimately started out as that though– providing the hard truths we authors may try to avoid.
That’s going to change.
Moving forward as I draft my newsletters, I’m going to adjust what type of Hard Truth I’ll be offering. While perhaps the publishing industry will teach me the things I don’t want to learn, I will morph them into messages and things we as adults, humans, non AI Bots, need to hear. So be prepared to see less author-ly content and more human content.
That being said, the format will remain the same, but as far as prompts, I may use it to inspire people to clean out their closet, break up with a friend (sorry, but sometimes it needs to happen!), or maybe even start a Instagram trend (lol as if).
When it comes to SHINY PENNY, my paid subscription newsletter, once that is done, I will not be replacing that content with something new. I do not have the time to edit another story to get up and online. I want your money to be worth it and throwing up a rough draft of a story won’t cut it. So you are welcome to continue to support me by being a paid subscriber (thank you if you do!), but there will not be exclusive content to those who pay for the foreseeable future after SHINY PENNY is done.
