I open to queries soon (reminder I open the first of every month for ONE WEEK!).

This month I’m a bit behind on queries more than I have in months past. Typically, I like to have a fresh slush pile– no outstanding queries and maybe a handful of fulls. But September was a BUSY month for me. Like, something everyweekend, many nights booked with back to school activities, etc, etc.

Plus, I had the opportunity to partake in PitchDis and PitBLK– so I have received more queries that I have in months past. Which I’m so excited about! But that also means I’m taking more time considering queries with less time to read. So, I’m a bit slower.

My plan is to be open to queries in OCTOBER and NOVEMBER for each of the first weeks of those months. I will NOT be open in DECEMBER, waiting to catch (hopefully) into the new year.

As it stands right now I have 58 unanswered queries (with more requested from PitBlk today), and 6 full manuscripts I need to read.
